The name deadCENTER represents Oklahoma's geographical location in the United States-deadcenter. It also signifies the film industry as it exists in Oklahoma. Many people might view Oklahoma Filmmaking as a "Dead" art. We at deadCENTER Film Festival could not disagree more. In fact this festival is a celebration of all the talented artists coming out of Oklahoma.
